Jacques Perrin and a team of intrepid flying cameramen spent three years aloft in gliders, helicopters, delta wings and remote-controlled aircraft to chronicle the migrations of over 50 different species of birds around the world. The result is Winged Migration - a mesmerizing, Koyaanisqaatsi-like meditation on the avian mind (now playing at the Clay in San Francisco).
