Long Now talk

August 16, 2007

This Friday evening, I'm looking forward to giving a talk at the Long Now Foundation as part of their Seminars on Long-Term Thinking. As a pretty much unknown first-time author, I'm grateful (and a little shocked) at their willingness to cede me a spot on a stage usually reserved for people like Brian Eno, Francis Fukuyama and Ray Kurzweil. Here's hoping I don't make a mess of it.

If you're at loose ends in San Francisco Friday night, please consider yourself invited to join me at the Cowell Theater in Fort Mason (doors open at 7, the talk starts at 7:30).
