The challenge

Develop a new design system to accommodate IBM's 3 million-page global Web presence.

My role

As Senior Manager of User Experience, I built and led a team of designers, writers and user researchers to manage the design of IBM's global presence on the Web. Led three major site redesigns, including a global 1999 redesign of the entire IBM global Web presence.

The 1999 site-wide redesign drove a 400% increase in online sales.
